About Us

The Scottish Differences of Sex Development network (SDSD) is a national managed clinical network, originally established in 2005 as SGAN (the Scottish Genital Anomalies Network), a follow on from the Scottish Audit of Genital Anomalies study group.

The SDSD network membership is made up of a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals who provide care to children and adults born with a difference in sex development or anomaly of the genitalia.

The SDSD network is administratively hosted within the National Network Management Service Clinical Network Department of National Services Scotland.
