What is the DSD multidisciplinary clinic?
The SDSD Network delivers regular multidisciplinary clinics based at
- Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital
- Royal Hospital for Children & Young People, Edinburgh
- Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow
Each centre has a local Coordinator to organise the clinics. The range of health care professionals from across different specialities can vary depending on local expertise, however there is an exchange of professionals between the three centres ensuring that clinical input from paediatric endocrinology, urology, genetics, biochemistry, clinical psychology, gynaecology, plastic surgery and paediatric nursing is available as required.
